An Unforgettable Trip for Individuals with Special Needs within the Scope of Disabled and Youth Week

Within the scope of Disabled and Youth Week, the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Disabled Persons Application and Research Center Directorate organized a meaningful and unforgettable trip in Antalya for individuals with special needs and their families. Within the framework of this special event, participants had the opportunity to visit Antalya Aquarium, Dinopark, Kaş and Kekova.

The trip was organized to increase the participation of individuals with special needs in social life and to enable them to have a pleasant time with their families. While the participants discovered the fascinating beauties of the marine world at Antalya Aquarium, they experienced the exciting atmosphere of prehistoric times at Dinopark. The natural and historical beauties in Kaş and Kekova constituted the unforgettable moments of the trip.

For this meaningful organization, families of individuals with special needs expressed their gratitude to our university and Likyon Travel, Anex Tour and The Luxury Shelters Hotel for the hospitality shown throughout the event. The successful and impressive realization of the trip was a source of great satisfaction for both families and individuals.

It has been seen once again that such activities are of great importance in supporting the social integration of individuals with special needs and improving their quality of life. Our university's continuation of such activities will contribute to increasing social awareness and support.
