Nature Camp in Adrasan was Successfully Completed
Between 24-26 May 2024, a nature camp was held in Adrasan-Antalya within the scope of the nature sports course organized by Lecturer Ali Şenkaynağı. A total of 70 students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Department of Sports Management, 5 faculty members and 4 administrative staff participated in this camp.
During the camp, students were provided with practical information about nature sports, as well as various applied trainings. Participants gained experience in matters such as determining a camping area, setting up a tent and its layout, and hiking.
This camp offered a great opportunity to put the theoretical knowledge gained in classes into practice and to increase the students' competencies in nature sports. While students had the opportunity to improve their camping skills in an environment intertwined with nature, they also gained valuable experiences in teamwork and survival in nature.
At the end of the organization, students and faculty members stated that the camp was very productive and wished for such activities to continue. This event was greatly welcomed by the participants, providing an experience that was both educational and entertaining.
