SDÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences Supported the Athlete Health Workshop

In the workshop held by Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine at the Meeting Hall of the Faculty of Medicine Morphology Building on April 26, 2024, "Athlete Health from the Perspective of Physician and National Athlete", "Overview of Sports and Sports Injuries in Isparta", "Sports" "Action Plan for the Prevention and Treatment of Injuries" topics were discussed. In the workshop, the problems faced by university athletes, national and paralympic national athletes; conducting pre-season performance tests and follow-up of athletes, what stakeholders can do before and after athletes are injured, organizing training for athletes and coaches on "Things to consider regarding health in sports", planning activities to encourage the public and university students to participate in sports in Isparta were discussed. Associate Professor İbrahim Kubilay Türkay from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and our national athletes Hasan Çalışkan and Mustafa Emirhan Taşdemir, who are students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, supported the relevant workshop.
