A Visit to Davraz Ski Center Was Conducted as Part of the Out-of-School Learning Environments Course

Fourth-year students from the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Süleyman Demirel University, under the guidance of Öner Koç, visited Davraz Ski Center on March 6, 2026, as part of the Out-of-School Learning Environments course. The aim of the visit was for students to become familiar with out-of-school learning environments and to gain experience in how teaching activities can be planned in these environments. As part of the program, students were given information about ski and snowboard equipment and materials used. In addition, detailed information was shared about ski and snowboard training processes, the slopes located in Davraz Ski Center, and the purposes of these slopes. In addition, practical evaluations were made regarding teaching activities and events that can be carried out in Davraz. The visit aimed to contribute to the prospective teachers' familiarity with out-of-school learning environments and to gain experience in different teaching methods.
