An Orientation Program Held for First-Year Students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences

Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Sports Sciences organized an orientation program for first-year students from the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Coaching Education, and Sports Management. The program was designed to help students adapt to university life and provide information about academic processes and the resources available to them. During the orientation program, Vice Dean of our faculty, Assoc. Prof. Olcay Salici, gave a presentation. In his speech, Salici provided important information about the faculty's mission, academic expectations, and the opportunities available for students’ personal and academic development. He emphasized the importance of active participation in academic and social activities and advised students to make the most of their university experience. Throughout the program, students were also informed about the sports facilities, academic counseling services, and student support services offered by the faculty. With this orientation program, the Faculty of Sports Sciences warmly welcomed its new students, aiming to help them start their academic journey with confidence and motivation.
