“Barrier-Free Rekfest” Event for Individuals with Special Needs Being Held at SDU

Under the leadership of the Süleyman Demirel University Center for the Application and Research of Disability Services and the Coaching Education Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, the “Barrier-Free Rekfest” event will be organized for individuals with special needs. Taking place on May 13–14, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, the event aims to increase the active participation of individuals with special needs in social life, encourage physical activity, and benefit from the inclusive power of sports. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of sports activities, including table tennis, swimming, bocce, educational games, darts, climbing, athletics, step, and aerobics. Designed to raise awareness through the unifying power of sport, Barrier-Free Rekfest will also provide a joyful and engaging environment where individuals can come together and share meaningful experiences. The event will be held at Süleyman Demirel University’s East and West Sports Facilities, and all residents of Isparta are warmly invited to attend.
