“Barrier-Free Rekfest” Event Held at SDÜ

Organized under the leadership of the Department of Coaching Education at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Sports Sciences and the SDU Center for the Application and Research of Disability Services, the “Engelsiz Rekfest” (Barrier-Free Rekfest) event was successfully held on May 13–14, 2025. Over the course of two days at the university’s East and West Sports Facilities, individuals with special needs actively participated in a wide range of sporting activities including table tennis, swimming, bocce, educational games, darts, climbing, athletics, step, and aerobics. “Barrier-Free Rekfest” provided an inclusive, engaging, and memorable experience for both participants and volunteers, promoting physical activity, social inclusion, and the unifying power of sport.
