Faculty of Sport Sciences Participated in Orientation Training on Combating Addiction

Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Sport Sciences actively participated in the orientation training program on combating addiction, organized as part of the 2025-2026 Academic Year. This important event, held for first-year students of the faculty, aimed to support young people in leading a healthy university life.

The event took place on September 23, 2025, between 11:30–12:30 at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) Conference Hall. The program consisted of four parts delivered in a 60-minute presentation:

YEDAM Training (Social Worker Yusuf Yılmaz, Psychologist Nur Tola)
Narcotics Training (Engin Çağlar)
Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit (Psychologist Sıddıka Yavuz)
During the presentation, the SDU Young Yeşilay Club also set up a stand to provide information about Yeşilay’s activities and club membership opportunities.

With this training, our faculty aims to raise students’ awareness of addiction risks and promote healthy lifestyle habits. We extend our gratitude to all participating students and speakers.
