Our Faculty's Disadvantaged Students Unit Commission Continues Its Work

At a meeting held as part of the work carried out by our Faculty's Disadvantaged Students Unit Commission, an informative report was presented regarding the existing shortcomings related to the Orange Flag criteria and the work done in this direction. At the meeting, it was emphasized that the active participation of disadvantaged students in the sporting, cultural, and social events planned to be organized in our faculty is important in terms of the Blue Flag criteria. Various suggestions were made regarding the necessary work to be carried out in this context. It was also stated that conducting a study to identify disadvantaged students involved in student clubs would contribute to the process. In the final part of the meeting, decisions were made to develop a data collection tool created for disadvantaged individuals, to share it through institutional communication channels, and to actively involve students in the relevant processes.
