Our University Returned with Medals from the Turkish Kickboxing Championship

At the Turkish Interuniversity Kickboxing Championship held in Balıkesir from April 8 to 11, 2025, students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Süleyman Demirel University achieved significant success.

Yüksel Ünal, a student from the Coaching Department, placed third in Turkey in the 55 kg Point Fight category, while Sinem Sarıyıldız, also from the Coaching Department, became the runner-up in the 50 kg Point Fight category. Hamit Ertunç, a student from the Sports Management Department, secured second place in the 69 kg Point Fight category.

We congratulate our athletes for their determination and hard work and extend our thanks to Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kumartaşlı, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, for coaching the team, and to Research Assistant Didem Yazar for her valuable support.
