The Effects of Climate Change Are Being Investigated in Lake Salda: Diving Support from Our Faculty's Research Assistant, Gül Bahar Bayıroğlu

Within the scope of the “Project to Investigate the Effects of Climate Change on the Lake Salda Special Environmental Protection Area” carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, an important field study was carried out in the Lake Salda Special Environmental Protection Area on December 7, 2025. A team consisting of Research Assistant Gül Bahar BAYIROĞLU from our faculty and diving experts conducted comprehensive examinations in the region in line with the project and collected samples from various points to be used in scientific analyses of the lake ecosystem. Our faculty actively contributed to the process by providing expertise and human resource support to the field and diving studies carried out within the scope of the project. It is expected that the scientific findings to be obtained as a result of the studies will shed light on the research conducted by the Ministry and will make significant contributions to the development of conservation policies to be implemented in the Lake Salda Special Environmental Protection Area.
